Fundraising and Charitable Events

 

At Buckingham Primary Academy we are proud to support both national and local charities.

 

For many years, the Parents, Pupils and Staff have supported and donated to the following national charities;

Macmillan Coffee Morning 

The Poppy Appeal

 

and supported local Charities such as;

Emmaus - Harvest Festival 

Dove House Hospice- Rudolph Run and Bunny Run

 

Other charitable events that we will take part in and promote to children but not ask for donations are;

Hello Yellow

Odd Socks Day

Christmas Jumper Day

World Book Day

White Ribbon Day 

(To name a few!)

 

We pride ourselves on providing the best possible experience for all of our pupils which is why we take part in but don’t ask for donations for some charitable events.

 

Other charitable events get lots of national coverage which is why we sometimes have to make a decision to not take part in those, particularly at busy times of the year or when we have lots of in-house activities taking place.
