World Book Day takes place on Thursday 5th March 2020 and we would like to invite you to join us in helping your child make the most of this special occasion.
World Book Day celebrates the joy and value of books and reading, especially for children. To help them get started on their reading journey, every child will receive a £1 World Book Day Book Token.
This year our World Book Day theme is Bedtime Stories. We would like to invite the children to wear their favourite pyjamas and bring along their most cherished bedtime story. As a school we have been focusing on developing language, broadening vocabulary and nurturing reading skills. Reading is a fundamental life skill and through events like World Book Day we are hoping to foster a genuine love and passion for diving deep into a book.
